Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. In-house

We’re a product design studio, based in the centre of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and are currently looking for someone to join our busy pre-press department. 

Although full training will be given, you will have some experience of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and be familiar with Mac OS. 

As well as preparing print ready artwork for ready for manufacture you will also be completing product spec’s and will be making some samples by hand, so you will have a keen eye for detail! 

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager for a 14 month fixed term contract for Maternity cover. This will ideally include a two month period working alongside the Marketing Manager prior to maternity cover beginning. You will also work alongside the founder setting the content and marketing calendar, driving brand awareness and customer growth.

This role will require an understanding of the full marketing mix, from PR and content to email marketing and social. 2025 is set to be an important year for the brand. With Meri Meri’s 40th anniversary and exciting brand collaborations, we are seeking someone who can increase brand awareness during this important year.

This person will need to be comfortable being at the centre of the organisation, being the key point of contact between ecommerce, wholesale, product and creative. You will understand who our customers are and create content and campaigns that consumers will view as engaging, and value added.

Although this role is initially for 14 months, for the right candidate, we would be looking to potentially make this a permanent role with a focus on PR.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create and maintain the global marketing calendar for US, UK and EU alongside the founder, trade team and product team
· Collaborate with the ecommerce, wholesale, digital marketing, product and design teams
· Work with our PR agency on campaigns, particularly our 40th anniversary and upcoming brand collaborations
· Brief the creative team on email campaigns, and social content
· Work with the Content Editor on content (blogs and makes) and support them on SEO

Requirements:

· Ability to be both strategic and hands-on, creative and commerical
· Strong knowledge of PR and brand activation, agency or in-house
· Commercial acumen, with a good knowledge of CRM and email marketing
· Knowledge of SEO is advantageous
· Proven ability to use reporting and Google Analytics to improve communications
· Strong background in customer re-engagement and retention strategies
· Experience managing agencies
· Experience of B2B marketing (wholesale) would be a plus
· Knowledge of SEO is advantageous
· Copywriting experience is advantageous

Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm plus occasional support to meet the requirements of your team and a business running 24/7 operations.
This role has the option to be part time, working 4 days per week.

Location

Our studio is based in Cheltenham, however, this role can be done either onsite, hybrid, or remotely with bi-weekly visits to Cheltenham.

Meri Meri is looking for a designer in our Cheltenham studio who can work within our house style while bringing fresh and unique designs to our brand. Our ideal candidate has experience in various design fields, with a strong focus on illustration and crafting.

As a designer at Meri Meri, you'll work with a team of talented creatives to design and develop our signature party ware, dress up, home decor and children’s products. You'll have the opportunity to bring your unique style to our brand while staying true to our aesthetic and values.
