Sales Assistant – Meri Meri Shop (Notting Hill)

Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
Hours: 30 hours per week (includes weekends)
Location: Kensington Park Road, Notting Hill, London

Meri Meri is bringing its magical world to life with an exciting pop-up shop in the heart of Notting Hill! We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join us and help deliver a joyful, memorable shopping experience to every customer who walks through our doors.

About the Role:

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our small and friendly pop-up team. You’ll provide exceptional customer service, maintain the visual standards of the shop, and support day-to-day operations to ensure the space runs smoothly and joyfully throughout the season.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a warm, welcoming, and personal customer experience
  • Build product knowledge to confidently assist and inspire shoppers
  • Ensure the shop floor is beautifully presented and fully stocked
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Process sales using the till system accurately and efficiently
  • Help with deliveries, stock replenishment, and inventory checks
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets

 About You:

  • Retail or customer service experience (ideally in lifestyle, fashion, or gifting)
  • A friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude
  • Passionate about creativity, design, and storytelling
  • Reliable, flexible, and happy to work weekends and across the full festive period
  • A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • A love for all things Meri Meri!

Brand & Marketing Director

Meri Meri is looking for a Brand & Marketing Director to lead the next stage of our brand.

This role is UK based and will shape and deliver our global brand and marketing strategy, ensuring a consistent and inspiring experience for customers across every touchpoint. Working closely with our Founder & Creative Director, you will bring the Meri Meri story to life and strengthen our position as a leading children’s lifestyle and party brand.

 Key responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the Meri Meri brand across all channels
  • Develop and deliver global brand and marketing campaigns
  • Keep the customer at the centre of marketing strategy
  • Lead PR, partnerships and influencer activity
  • Oversee digital marketing across social, email and paid channels
  • Ensure the consumer website delivers a strong customer experience
  • Lead the Brand & Marketing team across PR, design, digital and marketing

About you

  • Senior experience in brand and marketing leadership within a premium or design-led consumer brand
  • Strong brand storytelling and campaign development experience
  • A good understanding of all relevant social media channels
  • Expertise in digital marketing and PR
  • Experience leading creative and marketing teams
  • Commercially minded and collaborative

Role details

Hybrid role based at our Cheltenham HQ (minimum three days per week in the office). Reporting to the Founder & Creative Director and leading the Graphic Design, PR, Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.

Multidisciplinary Designer

Are you a talented and creative multidisciplinary designer with a passion for illustration, crafting, and staying on top of the latest interior and fashion trends? Are you able to work both as part of a team and independently? Do you have an urban sensibility and enjoy travelling?

Meri Meri is looking for a designer in our Cheltenham studio who can work within our house style while bringing fresh and unique designs to our brand. Our ideal candidate has experience in various design fields, with a strong focus on illustration and crafting 

As a designer at Meri Meri, you'll work with a team of talented creatives to design and develop our signature party ware, dress up, home decor and children's products. You'll have the opportunity to bring your unique style to our brand while staying true to our aesthetic and values.

We value creativity, innovation, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines. Familiarity with Adobe illustrator is preferred.

Creative Artworker 

This is a great opportunity for a student/recent graduate or for someone who just want to change career path, to get work experience in an in-house studio. The role is based in our Cheltenham studio, full time 37.5 hours. Attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential for this role.

Please note this is not a design role. 

Start date: ASAP

Salary: Dependant on experience 

Key skills

  • Attention to detail and hardworking are the most important qualities we’re seeking from a candidate
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – will Illustrator being a distinct advantage. 
  • Capable of picking up new programs quickly
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating print ready artwork.
  • Making mock ups of products 
  • Provide support to other members of the team

You will learn:

  • You will develop your understanding of print
  • To develop your skills within Adobe Creative Suite
  • The pre-production process, from brief to sampling
